The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to inform the public that on Monday, October 27, 2025, members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) will be conducting a training exercise in Blenheim.
This exercise will be part of an Incident Command Scenario and will involve the CKPS Command Post, an Armoured Vehicle and approximately five marked police cruisers with multiple police personnel present.
The training will take place on 2 Nazarene Road, within a commercial area that will be restricted to authorized personnel only during the exercise. The exercise is expected to occur between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Members of the public may notice an increased police presence or hear related activity in the area during this time. Please be advised that this is a planned training exercise only and there is no cause for concern.
