I started my career with the Dresden Police Service as the Chief’s secretary. After amalgamation, I moved to police headquarters in Chatham where I was the calm voice that answered your 911 calls. After 22 years of working in dispatch, I now oversee Background Checks.
In my free time, I enjoy going for motorcycle rides. My riding buddy, Cisco Kid, joins me on short rides. He loves to ride – I can’t leave without him. He rides safely in a basket behind me on my seat. Longer trips have included Sudbury and all the way out to Nova Scotia.
I am passionate about animal rescues. I have two long-haired dachshunds that were rescued from Missouri and Alabama. I volunteer for PAWR by helping them organize fund raising events and poker runs. My home is full of love with three long-haired dachshunds, a cat, two budgies and husband.
