Date: September 21, 2026, 1000hrs Location: Dufferin Avenue, Wallaceburg
On September 21, 2026, at approximately 1000hrs, police were dispatched to an address on Dufferin Avenue regarding a break-and-enter. An unknown suspect forced entry into a locked compound and stole a credit card.
Through investigation, police were able to identify the suspect.
A 46-year-old Chatham-Kent male was arrested for:
- Theft Under $5,000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Theft of Credit Card
- Use of Credit Card (Count 1)
- Use of Credit Card (Count 2)
- Possession Break-in Instruments
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.

On September 21, 2026, at approximately 2327hrs, police arrested a 28-year-old Chatham male for breaching a non-communication order.
