On Friday, September 11, 2026, at approximately 19:05 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service located a female party in the area of Dunkirk Drive in Chatham who had an active warrant with the Chatham-Kent Police Service in relation to a threat’s investigation.
The 80-year-old Chatham woman was arrested without incident and released on an undertaking with a future court date of December 9, 2026.

CK26067864 – Threats
Date: September 12, 2026, 11:32 hrs
Location: Semenyn Avenue, Chatham, ON
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 11:32 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an address on Semenyn Avenue in Chatham following reports of a threat’s complaint.
Through investigation police learned that a man had attended one of his family members residence and threatened to shoot her.
Police confirmed the man does not possess a valid firearms licence. He was located in the area and taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged for:
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on an undertaking with a future court date of December 9, 2026.
CK26067895 – Break and Enter
Date: September 12, 2026, 13:12 hrs
Location: Wheeler Line, Tilbury, ON
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 13:12 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a break and enter incident at a property on Wheeler Line in Tilbury.
Through investigation, police learned that a male suspect had forced entry into the compound by cutting a fence.
Upon searching the property, police located a male party inside an abandoned storage unit.
As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old Chatham man of No fixed addressed was arrested and charged for:
- Breaking and Entering to Commit Mischief
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on an undertaking with a future court date of December 8, 2026.
CK26067944 – Impaired
Date: September 11, 2026, 17:04 hrs
Location: Base Line, Dover Township, ON
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 17:04 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service were conducting traffic enforcement while travelling westbound on Base Line Road when officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.
As a result, police initiated a traffic stop on the subject vehicle.
During the investigation, officers formed grounds to believe that the driver of the motor vehicle was impaired. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters for further testing.
At the police station, a Drug Recognition Expert conducted an evaluation and determined that the driver’s ability to operate a conveyance was impaired by drug.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old London woman was charged with:
- Speeding
- Drive motor vehicle – no licence
- Ail to have Insurance card
- Drive motor vehicle, no permit
- Operating while impaired by drug
The accused was then released on an undertaking with a future court date of October 19, 2026.
CK26068021 – Break and Enter
Date: September 12, 2026, 23:36 hrs
Location: Mill Street West, Tilbury, ON
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 23:36 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a break and enter incident at an address on Mill Street West in Tilbury.
Officers arrived and a short time later located a smashed window panel on the southeast side of the building. While clearing the building, officers located a man asleep inside a room. Police confirmed the man inside was not authorized to be on the property.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Chatham man of No fixed address was arrested and charged with:
- Breaking and entering – Intent to commit indictable offence
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on an undertaking with a future court date of December 7, 2026.

Location: St. Clair Parkway, Wallaceburg, ON
On Sunday, September 13, 2026, at approximately 20:38 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service arrested a 53-year-old Port Lambton woman in the area of St. Clair Parkway in Wallaceburg.
The arrest was made on the strength of a warrant with the Chatham-Kent Police Service in relation to a previous threat’s investigation.
The accused was then released on a undertaking with a future court date of December 8, 2026.
