The Chatham-Kent Police Service has charged nine individuals following the execution of a search warrant in Wallaceburg.

On July 29, 2026, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Unit, assisted by the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on King Street in Wallaceburg as part of an ongoing fentanyl trafficking investigation. During the execution of the warrant, officers located and arrested nine individuals inside the residence. A systematic search of the property resulted in the seizure of:

  • Approximately 51 grams of fentanyl
  • Approximately 27 grams of methamphetamine
  • Nine oxycodone tablets
  • Digital scales
  • Drug packaging materials
  • Canadian currency
  • Cellular telephones
  • Seven BB guns
  • A firearm receiver
  • Three compound bows
  • Brass knuckles
  • Various types of ammunition

The estimated street value of the controlled substances seized is approximately $11,900.

As a result of the investigation, nine individuals from Wallaceburg were arrested:

A 32-year-old female has been charged with:

A 49-year-old male has been charged with:

A 44-year-old male has been charged with:

A 48-year-old male has been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl – CDSA S. 5(2)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine – CDSA S. 5(2)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking OxyContin – CDSA S. 5(2)
  • Possession of prohibited weapon – CC 91 (2)

Several accused also face additional charges for allegedly breaching court-ordered release conditions, probation orders, or firearms prohibitions. All accused were held pending bail hearings.
