On October 27, 2025, at approximately 14:17 hrs police responded to a home on Pearl Street in Tilbury for a family dispute.
Thought investigation officers learned a physical altercation had taken place between a father and son, resulting in minor injury to the son.
The 36-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and transported to police headquarters. He was charged with assault causing bodily harm and released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of December 4, 2025.

Date: October 27, 2025, Time: 20:30 hrs., Location: William Street S, Chatham
On September 14, 2025, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a family dispute at a residence on McNaughton Avenue East in Chatham. Officers learned the man, while holding a baseball bat in a threatening manner, threatened to harm several of his family members.
The investigation also revealed that the man was in violation of a probation order issued on October 9, 2024, which prohibited him from possessing any weapons. As a result, he faces several charges, including:
• Count 1: C.C. 264.1(1)(a) – Utter threats to cause death or bodily harm
• Count 2: C.C. 267(a) – Assault with a weapon
• Count 3: C.C. 88(1) – Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Count 4: C.C. 733.1(1) – Fail to comply Probation Order
• Count 5 and 6: C.C. 264.1(1)(a) – Utter threats to cause death or bodily harm
On October 27, 2025, the 33-year-old Chatham man was located riding a scooter on William Street South in Chatham and was arrested. He was later released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of December 1, 2025
