Assault (IPV) – CK26078265
Date: October 21, 2026, 0715hrs Location: Chatham
On October 21, 2026, at approximately 0715hrs, police responded to a dispute at a residence in Chatham.
Investigation revealed that a male had thrown a female’s phone on the ground, damaging it. The male then pushed the female to the ground and chocked her, resulting in physical injuries.
As a result, a 28-year-old Chatham male was arrested for:
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of November 30, 2026.
Theft – CK26078359
Date: October 21, 2026, 1342hrs Location: Grand Avenue East, Chatham
On October 21, 2026, at approximately 1342hrs, police were dispatched to a business on Grand Avenue East.
Investigation revealed that a female had concealed items and then left the business without making any attempt to pay for them.
Police located the 36-year-old Chatham female. She was arrested for Theft Under $5,000 and Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000.
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and a released on a Form 10 with a court date of January 13, 2026.
