Date: October 14, 2026, 18:32 hrs. Location: Prince Street East, Chatham
On June 20, 2026, at approximately 13:20 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence on King Street East in Chatham.
Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old female from Chatham-Kent inside the residence. An investigation determined she had entered through an unlocked door and taken items from within the residence. She was asked to leave and refused.
The accused was arrested and charged with the following:
- Count 1: Break and enter commit theft
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she was released with a scheduled court date of August 31, 2026. The individual failed to attend court on this date, and a warrant was subsequently issued for her arrest.
On October 14, 2026, at approximately 18:32 hrs., the accused was located on Prince Street East in Chatham by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. She was arrested on the strength of her outstanding warrant and was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she is currently being held pending a bail hearing.

On October 15, 2026, at approximately 00:46 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.
The investigation revealed that during a dispute, a 31-year-old female from Chatham confronted several neighbours. In the course of the interaction, the individual armed herself with a knife.
As a result of the investigation, the accused was arrested and charged with the following:
Count 1: Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
The individual was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she was later released with conditions and a scheduled court date.
