Unlawfully in a dwelling– CK26033236/CK26033273

Date: May 11, 2026, 06:38hrs          Location: Northeast Chatham

On May 11, 2026, at approximately 06:38hrs, police were contacted regarding an unwanted person at a residence in the northeast side of Chatham. A woman reported that her son was back on the property after being removed twice the previous day. Upon entering the residence, he was arrested and charged by responding officers. He was subsequently transported to police headquarters and released via a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date.

At 09:50hrs, police received another call from the same residence. The man had returned, violating the conditions of his earlier release, which prohibited him from attending his mother’s address. He was arrested again and taken to headquarters, where he was held for bail.

The 37-year-old Chatham-Kent man is currently facing the following charges:

  • Unlawfully in a dwelling
  • Failing to comply with an undertaking.

Weapons – CK26033281

Date: May 11, 2026, 10:20hrs          Location: Dresden

At approximately 10:20hrs, police responded to a reported dispute between roommates at a location in Dresden. The altercation escalated when a man stabbed a knife through a door and threatened to stab the other man.

The 39-year-old Dresden man was arrested and charged with several offences, including weapons dangerous, mischief, uttering threats, and failure to comply with a release order. He was transported to headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Date: May 11, 2026, 14:29hrs          Location: Bear Line, Dover Township

At 14:29hrs, police were called to a residence on Bear Line in Dover Township regarding an intimate partner violence incident.

The investigation led to the arrest of the 54-year-old Chatham man for multiple counts of assault. He was taken to headquarters and released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of July 7, 2026.

Summary of Arrest Warrants

On May 11, 2026, a total of five individuals were arrested under outstanding warrants in the Chatham-Kent area.
