Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) – CK26033084
Date: May 10, 2026, 15:18hrs
Location: Tilbury
On May 10, 2026, at approximately 15:18hrs, police were dispatched to a residence in Tilbury regarding a mischief call.
Investigation revealed that a man attended the address of his ex-partner and smashed a window at the residence.
As a result, a 31-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged with Mischief.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
Assault – CK26033122
Date: May 10, 2026, 19:59hrs
Location: Bourdeau Place and Keil Drive South, Chatham
On May 10, 2026, at approximately 19:59hrs, police responded to an assault call in the area of Bourdeau Place and Keil Drive South.
A 37-year-old male was in his vehicle on the roadway when he was approached by a 39-year-old male.
The 39-year-old suspect threatened the driver and then proceeded to smash the window of the vehicle with a hockey stick before attempting to assault the male.
No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 39-year-old male was arrested for the following offences:
- Uttering Threats
- Mischief
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
Arrest Warrants Summary:
During the weekend of May 8 to May 10, 2026, a total of ten individuals were arrested under outstanding warrants in Chatham and surrounding areas.
- May 8: Four arrests occurred, including two men from Chatham, one man from Raleigh Township, and one woman from Wallaceburg.
- May 9: Two individuals were taken into custody, including one man from Wallaceburg and one woman from Chatham.
- May 10: Four additional arrests were made, comprising two men from Wallaceburg and Chatham, and two women from Wallaceburg.
