Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) – CK26039824

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at approximately 21:22 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an address in Chatham regarding a harassment complaint.
Thorough investigation, police learned one individual known to another had been repeatedly messaging another individual despite previous cautions.
As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with:
- Harassing communications
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released with conditions and future court date of July 14, 2026.

Location: Claymore Line, Chatham Township, ON
On the early morning of Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at approximately 02:33 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service located a vehicle on Claymore Line that was running and occupied.
While speaking with the individual officers formed grounds to believe the driver was impaired by alcohol, as a result an approved screening device demand was made to the driver. The driver refused the demand and was subsequently arrested for refusal.
As a result, a 21-year-old Port Lambton man was charged with:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was then released with a future court date July 13, 2026
