On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at approximately 14:42 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a disturbance in Chatham. Police received information that the accused had attended the complainant’s residence and communicated with her despite being prohibited from doing so under the conditions of an undertaking.
Officers located the accused that afternoon and, following an investigation placed him under arrest.
As a result, a 27-year-old Chatham man has been charged with:
- Three counts of Fail to comply with undertaking
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Intimate Partner Violence / Mischief – CK26049669
On July 7, 2026, at approximately 23:55 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a disturbance in Blenheim. During the incident the accused caused damage to the residence by putting his head through a drywall surface.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Blenheim man was charged with:
- Mischief under $5,000
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released with conditions and a future court date of August 13, 2026.
