Mischief – CK26056158
Date: July 31, 2026, 20:11 hrs
Location: Tramway Road, Camden Township, Ontario
On Friday, July 31, 2026, at approximately 20:11hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service were dispatched to mischief complaint at a residence located on Tramway Road.
Through investigation, police learned that a male party had attended a residence for the purpose of purchasing an RV. While in attendance the male became aggressive and began causing damage to various things around the homeowner’s property.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old Wallaceburg man has been arrested and charged with:
- Mischief over $5,000
- Mischief over $5,000
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on an undertaking with conditions and future court date of October 27, 2026.

Weapons – CK26056228
Date: August 1, 2026, 02:04 hrs
Location: John Street West, Blenheim, Ontario
On August 1, 2026, at approximately 02:04 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service were dispatched to the area of John Street West in Blenheim for reports of a traffic complaint.
Through investigation, officers found one of the involved drivers to be in possession of a prohibited weapon as defined by the Criminal Code of Canada.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old man from Romney Township, has been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a prohibited weapon.
The male was then released on an appearance notice with a future court date of October 27, 2026.

Location: King Street West, Chatham, Ontario
On Sunday, August 2, 2026, at approximately 14:08 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service located a female party who had an active warrant with the Chatham-Ken Police Service for failing to attend court.
Police subsequently arrested the 51-year-old female of No Fixed Address on the strength of the warrant. The female was then released on an appearance notice with a new court date of October 23, 2026.

Break and Enter – CK26056862
Date: August 3, 2026, 18:05 hrs
Location: Sandys Street, Chatham, Ontario
On Monday, August 3, 2026, at approximately 18:05 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to reports of a break and to a building located on Sandys Street in Chatham.
Through investigation, police leaned that a male suspect had gained entry into a building that was currently under construction.
Police subsequently searched the building and located a male party hiding inside.
As a result of the investigation a 35-year-old Chatham man of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with:
- Breaking and Entering with Intent to Commit
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where they were held pending a bail hearing.
