Assault – CK26054972

Location: Base line, Thamesville, ON
On Monday, July 27, 2026, at approximately 15:41 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an assault complaint on Base Line.
Through investigation police learned that male party during a verba argument had grabbed a female by the arms aggressively causing bruising to both arms.
As a result of the investigation a 51-year-old man from Thamesville has been arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was then brought to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on an undertaking with conditions and a future court date of October 19, 2026.
