Bail Violations – CK26054313

Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON
On Friday, July 24, 2026, at approximately 22:42 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a residence on St. Clair Street in Chatham after receiving a report that a woman, who was bound by a court-ordered release condition, was at the residence in breach of those conditions.
Police attended and located the woman outside the residence. During investigation, police learned she was in a contravention of conditions prohibiting her from attending the residence and communicating with the victim.
Further investigation revealed that prior to police arrival, the woman had assaulted the victim.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with:
- Fail to comply with undertaking (Do not attend)
- Fail to comply with undertaking (Do not communicate)
- Assault
The accused was then held pending a bail hearing.

Impaired – CK26054573
Date: July 25, 2026, 23:23 hrs
Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON
On Saturday, July 25, 2026, at approximately 23:23 hrs, while on general patrol in the area of St. Clair Street in Chatham, a member of the Chatham-Kent Police Service observed a motor vehicle exhibiting poor driving behaviour. Police subsequently initiated a traffic stop on the motor vehicle.
Through investigation police formed grounds to believe that the driver operating the motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
The driver was arrested for impaired driving and brought back to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters to perform further testing.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old man from Harwich Township has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired by alcohol
- Operation while impaired – Over 80+
The accused was then released on an undertaking with a future court date of August 31, 2026.

Assault – CK26054755

Location: Duke Street, Wallaceburg, ON
On Sunday, July 26, 2026, at approximately 21:26 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service received information of a disturbance taking place on Duke Street in Wallaceburg.
Police attended and through investigation police learned that a female had struck a male during a verbal dispute.
As a result, a 39-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was then brought to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where she was later released on an undertaking with a future court date of September 2, 2026.
