Theft – CK26053304

Location: Grand Avenue West, Chatham, ON
On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at approximately 04:53 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a call for service regarding a theft complaint.
Police received information that a suspect had had entered an individual’s car in a parking lot and stole their debit card. The suspect then attended a nearby store and used the stolen debit card to make purchases.
As a result, of the investigation police located and charged a 33-year-old Chatham man with:
- Unauthorized use of credit card
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on an undertaking with a future court date of October 19, 2026
