Date: July 1, 2026, 1138hrs Location: McNaughton Avenue East, Chatham
On July 1, 2026 at approximately 1138hrs, police attempted a traffic stop on McNaughton Avenue East in Chatham.
However, the vehicle continued to an address on the same street.
Once stopped, police spoke with the driver and determined that he was prohibited from driving.
A 38-year-old Chatham male was arrested for Drive While Prohibited and Drive While Under Suspension.
He was released on a Form 9 with a future court date and his vehicle was impounded.

Date: July 1, 2026, 1713hrs Location: John Park Line, Wallaceburg
On July 1, 2026 at approximately 1713hrs, police attempted to stop a motor vehicle with improper plates on John Park Line. The vehicle continued for a short time and was eventually stopped at an address on John Park Line.
Police spoke with the driver and determined that he was prohibited from driving.
A 37-year-old Wallaceburg male was arrested for Drive While Under Suspension and issued a Part 3 Summons with a court date of August 19, 2026.

Date: July 1, 2026, 1946hrs Location: Gillard Street, Wallaceburg
On July 1, 2026, at approximately 1946hrs, police attended an address on Gillard Street after a female threatened to pepper spray another person.
Police located the female and placed her under arrest for Uttering Threats.
During a search incident to arrest, police located a firearm and suspected fentanyl.
A 37-year-old Chatham-Kent female faces the following charges:
- Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (Count 1)
- Resist Peace Officer
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (Count 2)
- Trafficking in Schedule 1 Substance – Opioid (Other Than Heroin)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (Other Than Heroin) (Count 1)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (Other Than Heroin) (Count 2)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (Other Than Heroin) (Count 3)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (Other Than Heroin) (Count 4)
