The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events.

Warrants – CK25072327

Date: December 1, 2025, Time: 21:52 hrs, Location: Orchard Heights, Chatham

On November 9, 2025, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a call for a wellness check on a 47-year-old male from Chatham who was uttering threats to harm various individuals.

Officers attended the residence, where the accused was arrested. During their investigation, police located and seized several weapons, including:

  • A silver Crossman revolver air pistol
  • An Archery Research Desert Hawk crossbow
  • A Crossman F-11.22 caliber air riffle
  • An antique single-shot pistol (unknown make/model)
  • Pellets and nine arrows

Further investigations revealed that the accused was bound by court-ordered conditions issued on May 23, 2024, which prohibited him from possessing any weapons. Officers formed reasonable and probable grounds to charge the individual with the following offence:

  • Count 1: Failure to comply with Undertaking

The male was transported to hospital for further assessment. Following the investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On December 1, 2025, at approximately 21:52 hrs, Chatham-Kent Police Service officers responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Orchard Heights, Chatham. During the investigation, officers learned that the accused possessed an outstanding first instance warrant for Failing to Comply with an Undertaking. The accused was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where he is currently held for bail.

Bail Violations (IPV) – CK25072401/ CK25072407

Date: December 1, 2025, Time: 02:01 hrs, Location: Tilbury

On December 1, 2025, at approximately 02:01 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a verbal dispute between two individuals a 38-year-old male accused from South-woodslee and a 45-year-old female complainant from Tilbury at a residence in Tilbury.

Investigation revealed that the accused was currently bound by a release order with a non-communication condition related to a previous Intimate Partner Violence incident involving the complainant.

Officers determined that the accused was breaching his conditions. The individual was arrested and charged with the following offence:

  • Count 1: Failure to Comply with Undertaking

Further investigations also revealed that the complainant invited the accused to the residence and subsequently, she was also charged with the following offence:

  • Count 2: Facilitating a Breach

The individuals were arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where, they are held for bail.
