Chatham-Kent, ON – On October 2, 2025, at approximately 12:09 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Horton Line at Lagoon Road in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. This collision involved a single motor vehicle being operated by 33-year-old female from Chatham.
Also involved were three passengers: a five-year-old female, a three-year-old female and a 4-month-old infant male. All parties involved in this collision sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. Two of the injured youth were transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and subsequently transferred to London Health Science Centre. The driver and the 4-month-old infant were transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, where they remain in care. All individuals involved are currently in stable condition.
Due to the nature of these injuries, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit took over this investigation. The roadway remained closed for several hours before reopening.
