Operation While Impaired – CK26059540
Date: August 14, 2026, 0154hrs Location: Bloomfield Road, Chatham
On August 14, 2026, at approximately 0154hrs, police received a report of a possible impaired driver.
Officers located the vehicle in a parking lot on Bloomfield Road.
Police requested the driver provide a sample of his breath into an Approved Screening Device. After the device registered a “Fail”, the male was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters for further testing.
As a result, a 17-year-old Chatham youth is facing charges for Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).
He was released on a Form 10 with a court date of October 7, 2026.

(CK26059452) August 13, 2026, at approximately 1704hrs, police conducted a person stop on James Street in Wallaceburg.
The 51-year-old Chatham-Kent male was wanted on an endorsed bench warrant for Fail to Attend Court.
He was released on a Form 9 with a court date of September 28, 2026.
(CK26059494) Also on August 13, 2026, at approximately 2133hrs, a 19-year-old Chatham female who was wanted by police for Break-and Enter Dwelling-house, Robbery and Assault, turned herself in at headquarters.
She was released on a Form 10 with a court date of November 9, 2026.
