Warrants/IPV, Arrest – CK26024398
Date: April 7, 2026, Time: 20:53 hrs., Location: Chatham
On April 7, 2026, at approximately 20:53 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a report that an accused was in breach of his court-ordered conditions.
Investigations revealed that a 43-year-old male accused from Chatham was contacting the victim via text messaging, despite being bound by court-ordered conditions prohibiting any communication.
Subsequently, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
As a result of the investigation the accused was located in Chatham by police. He was charged with the following:
- Count 1: Fail to Comply with Undertaking Conditions
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where he is currently held for bail.
Warrants, Arrest – CK26024249
Date: April 7, 2026, Time: 10:55 hrs., Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham
On March 26, 2026, at approximately 19: 20 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of theft at a retail store on St. Clair Street in Chatham (CL26000256).
Investigations revealed that a male accused entered the store, selected merchandise and concealed the items. The accused then proceeded through the self-checkout area and scanned one item before passing all points of sale without attempting to pay for the concealed item. He was subsequently approached by store security.
Through the use of surveillance footage, the accused was identified as a 44-year-old male from Chatham. Officers formed grounds to charge the accused with the following:
- Count 1: Theft Under $5,000
- Count 2: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Subsequently, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On April 7, 2026, at approximately 10:55 hrs., the accused was located on Grand Avenue West, Chatham. He was arrested on the strength of his outstanding warrant. The accused was later released with future court date of April 16, 2026.
Warrants, Arrest – CK26024307
Date: April 7, 2026, Time: 14:44 hrs., Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham
On April 30, 2025, at approximately 14:40 hrs., the Chatham- Kent Police Service responded to a report of theft a convenience store on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.
Investigations revealed that a 20-year-old male from Chatham cell phone was stolen inside the convenience store. Through the use of surveillance, the accused was identified as a 48-year-old female from London.
Officers formed grounds to charge the accused with the following:
- Count 1: Theft Under $5,000
- Count 2: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The accused was located and arrested on George Street in Chatham. The accused was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where she was later released with a scheduled court date which the accused failed to attend.
Subsequently, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
On April 7, 2026, at approximately 14:44 hrs., the accused was located on St. Clair Street, Chatham. She was arrested on the strength of her outstanding warrant. She was released with a scheduled court date.
