Date: June 4, 2025, Time: 10:10hrs., Location: Queen Street, Chatham
At around 10:10hrs, Chatham-Kent Police were called to a residence on Queen Street after reports of screaming. Upon arrival, officers found the door unlocked but received no response after announcing their presence.
An individual inside the residence abruptly closed the door on the officers. Due to the nature of the call officers breached the door. Inside, they located a woman. It was also learned the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
While police attempted to assist her, she assaulted officers. At approximately 20:25hrs, she was arrested and informed of her rights. She was transported to police headquarters and held for bail.
The 36-year-old Chatham woman is currently facing the following charges: failing to attend court and two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Date: June 5, 2025, Time: 00:05hrs., Location: Electric Line, Dover Township
At approximately 00:05hrs, police responded to a call from an individual who pulled over to the side of the road in Dover Township. The caller reported that he had consumed several alcoholic beverages and was feeling unwell both mentally and physically.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while impaired. He was arrested and was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters for breath tests.
The 25-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged operating a motor vehicle while having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He was released with conditions and a future court date of June 16, 2025

At approximately 00:06hrs, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a complaint regarding erratic driving in the Michener Road area of Chatham. Upon arrival, officers identified the driver and determined that he was operating the vehicle while impaired.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while impaired. He was arrested and was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters for breath tests.
The 37-year-old Chatham man was charged operating a motor vehicle while having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He was released with conditions and a future court date of June 16, 2025
