For the majority of my life, I have spent my time in the books – I am an advocate for personal and professional development and continuing education. From an early age, I knew that I wanted to be in a field where I could make a difference, provide opportunities, support and encouragement to others. This drive has been coupled with a desire to connect and give back to my hometown community of Chatham-Kent.
Originally, from Chatham, I ventured north and began my undergraduate journey in Thunder Bay where I received a degree in English and studied Education. Shortly after, I returned to my roots and completed two postgraduates, in Human Resource Management and in Occupational Health and Safety. The education that I have pursued has fostered a passion for the equal treatment and advocating for all persons both in and out of the workplace – thus leading me to where I am now, a proud member of the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
In my personal life, I am engaged to an officer and we have an adorable three-year-old Golden-doodle Finn, who is the love of our lives. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends.
