Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 199 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Fifteen people was arrested and eight were on outstanding warrants.

Shortly after 4:30pm on September 29th, police responded to a break and enter complaint at a residence in Highgate. A 34-year-old male was arrested for breaking into his mother’s residence. He was held for a bail hearing.

At 6:20pm, a disturbance call in Wallaceburg resulted in police locating an intoxicated 37-year-old male. The male is currently bound by a Conditional Sentence Order with a condition to not consume alcohol. He was arrested for the breaching that order and held for a bail hearing.
Man arrested for breach, obstruct police and resist arrest

Shortly after 1:00am, on September 30th, an officer on patrol located a male on a bicycle coming out of a field in Dover Township. The male initially provided a false name however once his true identity was established, it was learned he was breaching his curfew. The 24-year-old male then resisted arrest by trying to pull away from the officers however was taken into custody. He was found in possession of crowbars, wrenches and other tools commonly used to commit break and enters. The male was charged with breaching his Form 11 curfew condition, obstruct police, resist arrest, possession of break and enter tools and Highway Traffic Act offenses. The male was held for a bail hearing.
