Man Arrested for Uttering Threats CK24046428
On September 18, 2024, police began a threats investigation in Chatham.
Investigation revealed the man and the woman engaged in a verbal argument over a texting app resulting in the man leaving several voicemail messages. During the exchange, the man made several comments indicating he would cause harm to the woman and another individual.
On September 19, 2024, at 9:35 a.m., the man was located and transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of October 21, 2024. He has been charged with four counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm and one count of uttering threats to destroy or cause damage to property.
Man Arrested for Probation Violation CK24046484
On August 1, 2024, a warrant was issued for the man after he failed to make a scheduled court appearance, breaching a condition in his probation order.
On September 19, 2024, at 1:39 p.m., the man attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and turned himself in to the police.
The 26-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and released with a future court date of October 21, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a probation order.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants CK24046541
At 9:09 p.m., police responded to Park Avenue West in Chatham to investigate concerns of safety.
Officers arrived on the scene and the man fled the residence. After a short foot chase the man was taken into custody. The man was wanted on several warrants held by Sarnia Police and Woodstock Police related to Intimate Partner Violence.
The 28-year-old Ontario man was arrested and released to the Sarnia Police Service.
