Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 326 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Six people were arrested and five were on outstanding warrants.
Commercial Break and Enter and Theft in Chatham- CK24037069
On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, Chatham-Kent Police received a report of a commercial break and enter in the area of Murray Street in Chatham, that took place sometime over the last few days.
Unknown suspect(s) attended the address and entered the compound and removed an air conditioner. Extensive damage was caused to the building, causing approximately $2,500 worth of damages.

Chatham Man Arrested on Warrants- CK24050331
On Tuesday. October 8th, 2024, at approximately 7:20 a.m., a 31-year-old Chatham man attended Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and an outstanding warrant in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation was executed.
The 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested, processed, and held pending a bail hearing on October 9th, 2024.
He is currently facing seven counts of failing to comply with release order, one count of break and enter, and one count of assault with a weapon.
Chatham Man and Woman Arrested on Warrants- CK24050408 / CK24050423
On October 4th, 2024, Chatham-Kent Police began investigating a commercial break and enter from a local business in the area of King Street West, Chatham.
Through investigation officers were able to locate important property stolen. Property was photographed for evidence and returned to the business owner.
Officers determined the two involved individuals to be a 31-year-old Chatham man, and a 48-year-old Chatham woman, known to police from previous involvements.
Both individuals were charged with break and enter, and the 31-year-old man was charged with six additional counts of breaching his probation order.
The 48-year-old woman was arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for processing, and was later released with a future court date. Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant- CK24050469
On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a 31-year-old woman from Walpole Island, attended the Chatham-Kent Police station in Wallaceburg and an outstanding warrant in relation to her failing to attend court was executed.
The 31-year-old woman was arrested under the strength of the warrant, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for processing, and was later released with a future court date.
Chatham Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant- CK24050577
On Tuesday, October 9th, 2024, at approximately 12:15 a.m., while on general patrol in Tilbury, a Chatham-Kent Police officer encountered 26-year-old Chatham man known to police and known to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
Upon confirming the outstanding warrant in relation to him failing to comply with probation, the 26-year-old man was arrested, and the warrant was executed.
The 26-year-old man was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for processing and was later released with a future court date.
