As a result of a fraud investigation a 44-year-old Windsor woman attended the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and turned herself in. The woman faces a charge of Fraud Over $5000. This woman and another accused allegedly targeted an elderly Chatham-Kent citizen and defrauded them in excess of $20,000. The accused was released with bail conditions and a court date.

On 2024-10-29 a member of the Chatham-Kent Police observed a wanted man while attending to an unrelated call for service. The 42-year-old Chatham man had an outstanding warrant for failing to court in relating to criminal driving charges. The warrant was not endorsed and as a result the man was held pending bail.
