Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 159 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Two people were arrested, and one was on an outstanding warrant.
Break and Enter CK24030487
On Sunday, June 30th, 2024, at approximately 2129hrs, police responded to a call for service regarding a Break and Enter in the area of Delaware Ave in Chatham. Upon investigation, it was determined that unknown suspect(s) entered a garage and stole a John Deere zero turn lawn tractor, valued at approximately $3500.00. Police are currently investigating the incident. Any information relating to the occurrence can be directed to PC DAGENAIS.
Break and Enter CK24030400
On Sunday, June 30th, 2024, sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) smashed glass and gained entry to a restaurant in the area of St. Clair Street, Chatham. Once inside, the suspect(s) then removed beer and liquor valued at $500, along with approximately $780 in cash. Investigation is ongoing. Warrants CK24030452
On Sunday, June 30th, 2024, at approximately 1715hrs, police located and arrested a 38-year-old female in the area of Dundas Street in Wallaceburg. The female was arrested on the strength of a warrant and later release with a future court date.
