The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 134 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Ten people were arrested and eight were on outstanding warrants.
Chatham Woman Arrested on Warrants- CK24037176
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 06:00 a.m., a 39-year-old Chatham woman attended the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, and a surety relief outstanding warrant was executed.
The 39-year-old Chatham woman was arrested, processed, and after appearing before a judge, she was released with a new surety.
Residential Break and Enter and Theft in Chatham- CK24037069
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, Chatham-Kent Police received a report of a residential break and enter in the area of Daniels Place in Chatham, that took place sometime between August 5th, and August 7th, 2024.
Unknown suspect(s) attended the address and numerous items were taken from the residence, valuing approximately $8,500. This investigation is still ongoing.

Chatham Man Arrested on Warrants- CK24037105
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 10:45 a.m., a 54-year-old Chatham man was located and identified by officers to have an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
The 54-year-old Chatham man was arrested, processed, and after appearing before a judge, he was released with a future court date of August 16th, 2024.
Chatham Man Arrested on Warrants – CK24037228
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a 34-year-old Chatham man was located and identified by officers to have several outstanding warrants for numerous investigations.
The 34-year-old Chatham man was arrested, processed, and held for a bail hearing on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Chatham Woman Arrested on Warrants- CK24037233
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a 19-year-old Chatham woman attended the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, and an outstanding warrant in relation to a public mischief investigation was executed.
The 19-year-old Chatham woman was arrested, processed, released with a future court date of September 23rd, 2024.
Traffic Enforcement in Chatham- CK24037280
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, members of the Traffic Management Unit conducted a modified motor vehicle enforcement initiative in the area of Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
As a result, three inspections were completed, and five Provincial Offences Notices were issued.
Chatham Man Charged with Impaired Operation- CK24037304
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of King Street West in Chatham. No injuries were sustained.
Through investigation, a 20-year-old Chatham man was found to be operating his motor vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol and was arrested.
The accused was arrested for Operation While Impaired. After he provided breath samples, they were found to be more than double the legal limit.
The 20-year-old Chatham man was charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 Plus. The accused was released with conditions and a future court date of August 19th, 2024.
Chatham Man Arrested on Warrants – CK24037309
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 10:50 p.m., a 42-year-old Chatham man was located and identified by officers to have several outstanding warrants for numerous investigations, including failing to comply with release order, breach of probation, and failure to attend court regarding a robbery charge.
The 42-year-old Chatham man was arrested at the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, processed, and held for a bail hearing on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Blenheim Man Arrested on Warrants- CK24037313
On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a 26-year-old Blenheim man attended the Blenheim Police Station, and an outstanding warrant in relation to a utter threats investigation was executed.
The 26-year-old Blenheim man was arrested, processed, released with a future court date of September 23rd, 2024.
Commercial Break and Enter in Chatham- CK24037327
On Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Chatham-Kent Police received a report of an alarm at a commercial business in the area of Richmond Street in Chatham, and therefore possibly a commercial break and enter in progress.
Unknown suspect(s) attended the address and entered by causing damage to one of the doors. This investigation is still ongoing.
