The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 163 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Four people were arrested and three were on outstanding warrants.
Residential Break and Enter and Theft in Chatham- CK24037069
On Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, Chatham-Kent Police received a report of a residential break and enter in the area of Heather Drive in Chatham, that took place sometime over a three-week period.
Unknown suspect(s) attended the address, and numerous items were taken from the residence, valuing approximately $20,000. This investigation is still ongoing.

Chatham Man Arrested on Warrants- CK24037105
On August 6th, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a 54-year-old Chatham man attended the Blenheim Police station and an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court was executed.
The 54-year-old Chatham man was arrested, processed, and released with a future court date of August 26th, 2024.
Chatham Man Arrested on Warrants- CK24037105
On August 6th, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Police officers conducted a routine traffic stop and found a 41-year-old Chatham operating the vehicle. Upon identifying the man, officers learned that he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
It was also learned that the man was a prohibited driver in Canada and was subsequently arrested and had the vehicle towed and impounded for 45 days as a result.
Officers executed the outstanding warrant and provided a court date for the new charge of driving while prohibited.
The 41-year-old Chatham man was released from police custody with a court date of September 9th, 2024.
Chatham Woman Arrested on Warrants and Obstruction- CK24037151
On August 6th, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 45-year-old Chatham woman was in the passenger seat of the vehicle that was stopped during a routine traffic stop in relation to (CK24037105).
When the woman was identified by officers, it was learned that there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest in relation to a mischief investigation. Through police interaction with the woman, a new charge of obstruct police was also determined.
The 45-year-old Chatham women was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for processing and was later released with conditions and a future court date of September 16th, 2024.

On Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Police received a report of a residential break and enter in the area of Adelaide Street in Chatham, that took place within approximately two hours prior to calling police.
Unknown suspect(s) attended the address and several items were taken, valuing approximately $500. This investigation is still ongoing.

Break and Enter and Theft in Chatham- RM24002550
On Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, at approximately 9:00p.m., Chatham-Kent Police received a report of a residential break and enter in the area of Windfield Crescent,in Chatham, that took place sometime between August 3rd, 2024 and August 4th, 2024.
Unknown suspect(s) attended the address and stole a bicycle, valuing approximately $750. This investigation is still ongoing.
