Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 174 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Six people were arrested, and five were on outstanding warrants.
Man arrested for Impaired Operation- CK24036449
Last night at approximately 11:00PM, Police received a report of a possible impaired driver in the area of Grand Ave East in Chatham. Officers on general patrol were able to locate the vehicle and conduct a Traffic Stop.
As a result, a 45-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation. The man was later released with a future court date.
Tilbury man arrested on Warrants- CK24036403
Last night at approximately 6:00PM, several calls for service regarding a suspicious person in the area of Young Street in Tilbury. Police arrived in the area and located the man a short distance away.
Police learned that the man had outstanding warrants for his arrest. The 27-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.
