Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 194 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Five people were arrested and two were on outstanding warrants.
Motor Vehicle Collision CK24040621
At 11:34 a.m., emergency crews responded to Queens Line at Davidson Road in Tilbury for a motor vehicle collision. The collision involved a vehicle and a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a Windsor hospital for medical treatment.

Man Arrested for Impaired Driving CK24040711
At 6:46 p.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on William Street in Wallaceburg. The pickup truck was travelling on William Street struck a hydro pole and fled the scene.
Officers searched the area and located the vehicle on Duncan Street. The driver was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
The 28-year-old Dresden man was charged for impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. His vehicle was impounded for 90 days, and his driver’s license was seized. He was released with a future court date of September 9, 2024.
Man Arrested for Bail Violations CK24040751
At 9:41 p.m., police responded to Wedgewood Avenue in Chatham for a disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers learned the man attended the residence and threatened the occupant when he was asked to leave. Officers located the man inside the home and arrested him.
The man was bound by a probation order and release order not to communicate with the occupant or attend the address.
The 47-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking, failing to comply with a probation order and uttering threats. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
