Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 180 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Six people were arrested, and four were on outstanding warrants.
Break and Enter – CK24038855
On Friday August 16th, 2024 at 7:22 a.m., The Chatham-Kent Police Service attended a restaurant on Grand Avenue West, Chatham for an insecure door. Sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) entered through the rear door of the restaurant on Grand Avenue West and stole approximately $900 worth of tools and office property.

Man Arrested on Warrants- CK24038906
On Friday August 16th, 2024, at approximately 1:07 p.m.,police located the 32-year-old man on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg. Officers confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Failing to Comply with Probation.
The 32-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and released with a future court date.
Man Arrested on Warrants- CK24038909
On Friday August 16th, 2024, at approximately 1:19 p.m., police located the 33-year-old man on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg. Officers confirmed the man was wanted in connection to an assault causing bodily harm investigation.
The 33-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested on the strength of the Chatham-Kent Police warrant and transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
