Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 189 calls for service in the last 24 hours. 5 people were arrested.
Break and Enter – CK24063437
Yesterday at approximately 1:00 p.m. officers attended an address on Erie Shore Drive in response to a call of a break and enter. Investigation revealed sometime over the past month, unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the cottage and stole an unknown, at this time, number of items.

R.I.D.E.- (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere)
This morning, Chatham-Kent Police officers conducted a R.I.D.E program on Lacroix Street Municipality. No impaired vehicle operators were observed.
Warrant Arrest- CK24063452
Yesterday afternoon at approximately 3:20 p.m. a 36-year-old Chatham man, known to police to have outstanding warrants for his arrest, was observed on King Street, Chatham. He was stopped, arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and lodged for a bail hearing.

This morning at approximately 3:30 a.m. a 32-year-old Chatham man, known to police to have outstanding warrants for his arrest, was observed on Third Street, Chatham, near Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters. He was stopped, arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and lodged for a bail hearing.
