Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 221 calls for service in the last 24 hours. 8 people were arrested.
Police are Looking for the Public’s Assistance CK24043873
Yesterday at approximately 8:00 a.m. police attended an address on Lindsay Road, Chatham, in response to a complaint of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle is a 2004, Chevy Silverado, black in colour last seen with Ontario licence plates AX18296.

Rules of the Road – Drive on Closed Highway.
Police received complaints yesterday of drivers not obeying Road Closure Signs in Wheatley. Drivers are reminded that where signs or traffic control devices have been posted, failure to obey these signs or devices can cost you $110 under the Highway Traffic Act, Section 134(3).
If a road is closed, or congested with construction, find another way.
Woman Arrested for Bail Violation – CK24043907 – On September 7, 2024, at approximately 11:45 a.m. a 29-year-old Chatham woman breached her bail release with conditions, one being a non-association condition. Investigation revealed that the woman breached the non-association condition with the man in her presence, and was arrested accordingly, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and lodged for a bail hearing.
Man Arrested for Bail Violation – CK24043900– On September 7, 2024, at approximately 11:45 a.m. a 56-year-old Chatham man was arrested for facilitating the breach of bail conditions for the above listed incident. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and later released from custody with a future court date to answer to the charge.
