Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 209 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Six people was arrested and three were on outstanding warrants.
Youth arrested after disturbance CK24048073
At 4:06 pm A large group of youths were in the area of Barthe and Kent Street Chatham. This had carried over from another location. Several calls were received for a disturbance. As the police arrived and several youths fled the area. A 15 year old youth was arrested running over the third street bridge. The youth was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent H.Q. and held for bail on numerous charges. This investigation is currently ongoing and further information to be released at a future time.
Woman to be charged with assault (x2) and assault with a weapon CK24048077
As part of the disturbance at Barthe and Kent at 4:06 pm. An 18-year-old woman assaulted two different people. While holding one of the young woman’s hair burnt the victims arm with a lighter. This investigation is ongoing and the 18-year-old woman to be charged with assault X2 and assault with a weapon.
Woman arrested on outstanding warrant CK24048089
Police were at a motel on Talbot Trail Blenheim. A woman at this location was found to have an outstanding warrant failing to attend court from several years ago. The woman was placed under arrest and released with a future court date of October 29,2024
Break and enter Zone road 5 Zone Twp Ck24048124
At 8:45 pm suspects forced open a door on a shop at an address on Zone road 5. The alarm scared off the suspects and they left in an older extended cab pickup.

Man threatened with knife CK24048126
At around 8:50 pm a 22 year old man was at a local business on St Clair Street Chatham. The male was approached by a group of unknown males and was threatened with a knife. The suspects all fled prior to the police arriving. This investigation is ongoing currently.
