Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 223 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Seven people were arrested and three were on outstanding warrants.
Robbery Lacroix street Chatham ( Railroad tracks) CK24054385
At 4:15 pm on October 26,2024 Two young man were walking along the railroad tracks off Lacroix Street Chatham. A person not known them approached, pulled out a knife and demanded “all of their stuff”. Some items were handed over and a 911 call was made to police. Several Officers flooded the general area and were able to track the movement of the suspect through several back yards. The suspect ended up in an industrial fenced in area. The police were able to able to locate the suspect and place the man under arrest. A 22-year-old Chatham man has been charged with Robbery, Assault with a Weapon and Weapons Dangerous and was held for bail.
Liquor Licence Control Act Arrest King Street East Chatham CK24054516
At 2:50 am The Police were contacted for a disturbance in the area of King Street east and Princess Chatham. When police arrived there was a 18 year Chatham woman and a 21 year old Dresden Man that were highly intoxicated. The man and woman were unable to care for themselves and arrested und the LLCA and held in custody until sober.
Break and enter Thames Street Chatham CK24054541
At 6:07 am on October 27,2024 and alarm call was received from a local business on Thames Street Chatham. When the police arrived, they found the business insecure, and one bicycle stolen. The bicycle taken was a neutral coloured Giant bike

Fail to remain Fifth Street Chatham CK24054499
On October 27,2024 at 1:31 am a call was received for a light pole down at King Street Chatham. Witnesses reported a vehicle had mounted the curb and knocked down a light pole before fleeing southbound. This Fail to remain is currently still under investigation in attempts to locate the driver.

Attempt Break and Enter St Clair Street Chatham CK24054531
At 4:48am on October 27,2024 a store owner heard loud banging at the rear of the business located on St Clair Street Chatham. The suspect did not gain entry and fled on foot on St Clair Street Chatham. The area was checked by Police, and nothing was found.
