Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 166 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Five people were arrested and four were on outstanding warrants.
Motor vehicle collision Charing Cross road Raleigh Twp. CK24054011
The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Charring Cross Road around 3:30PM. A 57 year old male from Blenheim received life-threatening injuries resulting from this collision and was air-lifted to London Health Science Centre. Given the severity of the collision, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Unit was contacted to investigate this collision. The causation of this collision remains under investigation and anyone with information surrounding the particulars of this incident are asked to contact Constable Kristen Charron of the Traffic Management Unit at 519-355-1092.
Missing youth located CK24054086
On October 24,2024 a media release was sent out looking for assistance in locating a 14 year old youth. The youth has been located and we would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating this missing youth.
Dumpster fire King street west Chatham CK24053940
On October 25,2024 around 5:30 am a fire took place in a dumpster on King St. West, Chatham. The fire caused some damages to a local business.
