Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for May 29, 2025The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences.

Date: May 30, 2025, Time: 0248 hrs., Location: Courtright Line, Lambton County
On May 3, 2025, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a domestic disturbance at a residential address in Chatham involving two individuals, a 27-year-old male from Sarnia and a 28-year-old female from Chatham (CK25025757).
As a result of the investigation the male accused was charged with five counts of assault and three counts of assault causing bodily harm.
The individual was released with conditions, including no direct or indirect contact with the victim and not to attend any location where the victim lives, work, or attends school. A scheduled future court date was given for June 2, 2025.
On May 4, 2025, at 1837 hrs, police returned to the same location after receiving a report that the individual had been observed in the parking lot of the victim’s residence. Upon arrival, officers searched the area but, was unable to locate him or the vehicle.
Further investigation revealed that the individual had made multiple attempts to contact the victim and was present at her residence, which constituted to a violation of his probation conditions. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest. The accused was subsequently charged with the following:
Count 1: Fail to Comply with Undertaking
Count 2: Fail to Comply with Undertaking
Count 3: Fail to Comply with Undertaking
On May 30, 2025, at approximately 0248 hrs. the Sarnia Police Service located the accused. He was arrested on an endorsed first-instance warrant for three counts for failing to comply with an undertaking. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where he is currently being held for bail.
