On May 21, 2025, at approximately 09:21 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a reported disturbance at a residence in Wallaceburg.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a 35-year-old male from Wallaceburg, had assaulted and threatened a 42-year-old female victim also from Wallaceburg, during a domestic-related incident. Witnesses reported hearing shouting and sounds of distress before approaching the residence, where they observed the suspect making aggressive threats.
