Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 166 calls for service in the last 24 hours. 4 people were arrested.

Man Arrested for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime CK24021620

At approximately 8:22 a.m., while investigating another matter in the area of William St, North, in Chatham, police located a man with an outstanding warrant for possession of property obtained by crime.

The 38-year-old Chatham man was subsequently arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.

Break and Enter in Chatham CK24021683

At approximately 2:45 p.m., police were called to a residential address in the area of Adelaide St, North, in Chatham regarding a break and enter.

Upon investigation it was determined that on Saturday May 11th 2024 at approximately 2:13 a.m., an unknown suspect entered into a detached garage and stole a Rocky Mountain Hybrid Men’s bike as well as several bicycle accessories.

Woman Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK24021704

At 4:27 p.m., police located a woman in the area of Bluewater Line, in Wallaceburg. Upon investigation it was learned that the woman had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The 46-year-old Walpole Island woman was subsequently arrested and released with a future court date.
