Bail Violation – Case# CK25024828

Details:
On November 23, 2024, the man was arrested and charged with Assault and Mischief Under $5000. Following this incident, he was presented in court, where a Justice of the Peace issued a Release Order with conditions, including a prohibition against contacting a woman.
On April 30, 2025, at approximately 13:32 hours, officers from the Chatham-Kent Police Service’s Bail Compliance Unit conducted a routine compliance check at the man’s residence. Upon arrival, officers heard a woman’s voice coming from inside the apartment. After knocking, they were greeted by the individual, who stated he was engaged in watching videos on a social media platform.
The officers requested and were granted access to the apartment. Upon entering, they discovered the woman concealed in a darkened bedroom.
At 14:06 hours, the 51-year-old Dover Township man was arrested for failing to comply with the conditions of the Release Order. He was transported to police headquarters, where he was held for bail.
Break and Enter – Case# CK25024835

Details:
On April 29, 2025, at approximately 7:45 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a Break and Enter at a commercial business on Baseline Road in Wallaceburg.
The complainant observed a male suspect on video surveillance entering the premises. The individual was seen wearing a hoodie and carrying a backpack, during which he placed several items inside. The video footage also confirmed the suspect’s identity.
On April 30, 2025, at 14:32 hours, police observed the 34-year-old Wallaceburg man leaving a residence on Agnes Street in Wallaceburg and subsequently arrested him. He was transported to police headquarters and held a bail hearing pending.
He is currently facing the following charges: Breaking and Entering; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking.
Break and Enter – Case# CK25024974
Date: May 1, 2025, Time: 00:08hrs, Location: Mary Street, Chatham
Details:
On May 1, 2025, at approximately 00:08 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an unwanted person complaint on Mary Street in Chatham.
Officers learned that the man had visited the complainant’s residence on the evening of April 30, 2025, where he made unwelcome advances toward a friend, causing discomfort. At midnight, the complainant and his friends asked the man to leave. After initially resisting, he exited, but then returned and forcibly kicked the door, damaging the locking mechanism, and entered without permission.
At 00:20 hours the 44-year-old Leamington man was arrested and transported to police headquarters. He was released with conditions and a future court date of May 26, 2025.
He has been charged with Breaking and Entering with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence (Mischief).
