•5 arrest was made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.
Key Incidents:
Mischief/FTC – Case# CK25017064
Date: March 25, 2025, Time: 14:51 hrs., Location: Talbot Street, West Blenheim
Details:
On March 25, 2025, at approximately 1430 hrs., a 29-year-old male from Blenheim was captured via surveillance footage spitting on the keypad of the entrance of the Chatham-Kent Police Service building in Blenheim. On March 16, 2025, the male was released by the court with conditions, including a requirement not to leave his residence while under the influence of alcohol.
Later that day at approximately 16:15 hrs., police responded to a call for service about an unwanted person on Wellington Street in Blenheim. Officers located the same male, who showed clear signs of intoxication. The accused also admitted to having consumed alcohol earlier that day. The male was arrested and charged with one count of mischief under $5000 and one count of failing to comply with a court order. He was released with a scheduled future court date of April 16, 2025.

Date: March 25, 2025, Time: 15:58 hrs., Location: St. Clair St., Chatham
Details:
On March 25, 2025, at approximately 15:58 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of property damage in the parking lot of a retail store on St. Clair Street in Chatham. The complainant in this matter reported that an unknown man was damaging his Telsa Truck. The accused left before the arrival of the police service. However, officers located the accused at the intersection of St. Clair Street and McNaughton Avenue, and he was identified as a 27-year-old male from Chatham. The investigation revealed that the man had keyed the vehicle and was also striking it while shouting racial slurs at the vehicle’s owner.
During his arrest, the man spat at one of the attending officers. Subsequently, the accused was charged with mischief over $5000 and assaulting a peace officer. The accused was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters. He was released with conditions and a scheduled future court date of April 28, 2025.
