The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

• 7 arrest was made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.

Warrants – Case# CK25014518
Date: March 12, 2025, Time: 0901 hrs., Location: Wallace Street, Wallaceburg
Details:
- On March 12, 2025, at approximately 19:28 hrs., a 28-year-old female from Wallaceburg, was located by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The accused possessed outstanding warrants for the operation of a vehicle while prohibited, failure to comply with her probation order and failure to attend court. Subsequently she was arrested and was released with a future court date of April 28, 2029.

Date: March 12, 2025, Time: 10:07 hrs., Location: Main Street East, Ridgetown
Details:
- On March 12, 2025, at approximately 19:28 hrs., a 37-year-old male from Ridgetown, turned himself in at the Chatham-Kent Police Service, Ridgetown. He possessed several warrants for failing to comply, uttering threats, breaking and entering and possession of a dangerous weapon. Subsequently, this is out of sequence. He was arrested, held for bail. As a result of the bail hearing, he was remanded into custody and transported to SWDC until his next court appearance. Scheduled for March 18, 2025, by video.
Assault – Case# CK25014612
Date: March 12, 2025, Time: 17:45 hrs., Location: Mill Street West, Tilbury
Details:
- On March 12, 2025, at approximately 17:45 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police service responded to a report of assault. A 34-year-old male from Chatham was asked to leave a local business in Tilbury. Instead, he assaulted a 57-year-old male from Tilbury by throwing a chair at him. The victim sustained minor injuries from the chair. Subsequently, the accused was arrested and charged with one count of assault and one count of assault with a weapon. He was released with a future court date of April 7, 2025
Warrants – Case# CK25014702
Date: March 12, 2025, Time: 03:09 hrs. Location: King Street West, Chatham
Details:
- On March 12, 2025, at approximately 17:39 hrs., a 29-year-old male from Chatham, who is the subject of an unendorsed warrant for indecent act and failure to attend court was located by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The accused was involved in a prior occurrence (CK24039932) for indecent exposure after deliberately exposing his backside to a witness in public view. The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to the complaint, located the individual, and made an arrest. Due to his outstanding warrant, the accused was arrested and is currently being held for bail.
