Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for June 23, 2025. The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences.

Arrest/Warrants – CK25036470

Date: June 23, 2025, Time: 20:48hrs, Location: McNaughton Ave., Chatham

On September 17, 2023, the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted a traffic stop involving a vehicle reported to be driven by an unlicensed driver. (CK23049109).

During the interaction, a 24-year-old female driver from Blenheim initially provided false identification to police.

Upon further investigation, officers confirmed the driver’s identity. The individual was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Obstructing a Peace Officer

She was released at the scene with conditions and a future court date of October 23, 2023. The accused, also being unlicensed, was issued a separate Provincial Offence Notice for operating a motor vehicle with no licence.

Thereafter, on two separate occasions the accused failed to appear at court, and an endorsed warrant was issued for her arrest (RM24001969). Subsequently, she was charged with the following:

  • Failure to attend Court

On June 23, 2025, at approximately 20:48hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service located and arrested the accused mentioned in the prior incident (CK23049108). She was the subject of outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. The individual was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where she is currently being held for bail.
