Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for June 20-23, 2025. The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 72 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences.

Key Incidents:
Arrest/Warrants – CK25035778
Date: June 20, 2025, Time: 13:31hrs., Location: Industrial Rd, Thamesville
On July 12, 2024, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle (CK24029517). The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital. Upon investigation police identified the motorcycle as one reported missing earlier in the year.
Officers confirmed the vehicle’s status as stolen. The driver, a 40-year-old male from Camden Township, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The individual failed to appear in court on two separate occasions in June 2025. As a result, warrants for his arrest were issued on both occasions. He was charged additionally with the following:
- Failure to Attend – Fingerprints
- Failure to Attend Court
On June 20,2025, at approximately 13:31hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service located and arrested the same individual mentioned in the prior case. He was the subject of an outstanding unendorsed warrant. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and was released with a scheduled future court date of July 24, 2025.
B&E Residential – CK25036059
Date: June 21, 2025, Time: 20:46hrs., Location: Stanley Avenue, Chatham
On June 21, 2025, at approximately 20:46hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to report of a break and enter in progress at a vacant residence in Chatham. Upon arrival, officers observed signs of forced entry, and a suspect was seen inside the residence through a rear window.
Police contained the scene and arrested a 38-year-old male from Blenheim along with a second male, a 46-year-old male from Chatham. Approximately 7 grams of suspected methamphetamine were also seized.
Both individuals were charged with the following:
- Count 1: Break and Enter with Intent Code
- Count 2: Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Methamphetamine)
They were transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where they are currently being head for bail.
Warrants – CK25036276
Date: June 21, 2025, Time: 21:54hrs, Location: Dundas Street, Woodstock ON
On August 9, 2022, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a suspicious person entering a private property (CK22037178). An individual was seen accessing a detached garage before fleeing the area.
Police arrived shortly after and located a 38-year-old male from Chatham-Kent suspect approximately 200 metres away. When the suspect saw officers, he fled the scene into a corn field. A ground search was conducted; however, officers were unable to locate the individual.
Through further investigation, police were able to identify the suspect. The suspect is currently facing the following charges:
- COUNT 1 – Trespass by Night
- COUNT 2 – Theft Under $5000
- COUNT 3 – Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- COUNT 4 – Break, Enter and Commit Theft Under $5000
- COUNT 5 – Obstruct Police
A warrant was issued for his arrest.
The accused was arrested for January 18, 2023. He was remanded into custody with a court date of June 20, 2023, which he failed to attend. A warrant was issued for his arrest (RM24003708).
On June 22, 2025, at approximately 21:54hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service took custody of the same individual mentioned in the prior case (CK22037178), who had been arrested by the Woodstock Police Service connection with outstanding unendorsed warrants.
He was transferred to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where he is currently being held for bail.
