Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for June 18, 2025. The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences.

Warrants – CK25035412
Date: June 18, 2025, Time: 19:02 hrs., Location: St. Clair St., Chatham
On March 13, 2025, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle that appeared to be stuck in the mud in a rural area in Chatham (CK25020307).
Upon investigation, it was determined that the vehicle was stolen and not registered to the male occupant. As a result, a 43-year-old male from Blenheim was arrested and charged with the following:
- COUNT 1: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
The vehicle was recovered and returned to the rightful owners. The accused was released with a scheduled future court date of April 28, 2025. After failing to attend court, an endorsed warrant was issued for his arrest (RM25001597).
On June 18, 2025, at approximately 19:02 hrs, officers conducted a routine traffic stop and located the accused involved the prior case. He was arrested on the strength of an endorsed warrant related to the possession offence.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and was released with a scheduled future court date of July 23, 2025.
Assault – CK25035432
Date: June 18, 2025, Time: 20:55 hrs., Location: Chatham
On June 18, 2025, at approximately 20:55 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of an assault following a dispute at a residence in Chatham.
It was reported that a 35-year-old male from Chatham attended a residence to confront a 36-year-old female victim, also from Chatham. A verbal altercation escalated, resulting in the female being physically assaulted.
Police attended the scene and arrested the accused, who was charged with assault. The individual was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters. He was released with conditions and a scheduled future court date of July 24, 2025.
