Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for June 16, 2025. The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences.

IPV/FTC Probation – CK25034869
Date: June 16, 2025, Time: 19:00 hrs., Location: Chatham
On June 16, 2025, at approximately 19:00 hr, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a breach of probation.
The complainant, a 26-year-old female from Chatham reported that a 29-year-old male from Chatham-Kent had approached her vehicle, and began pacing while shouting threats to her, in violation of an existing probation order. The individual left the scene before officers arrived.
Upon investigation, supported by video evidence, the accused was identified. It was also discovered that the individual was bound by conditions not to attend within 10 metres of the complainant and 100 metres of any residence, workplace, or school he knows the complainant to attend.
Officer located the accused, and he was arrested without incident for one count of Breach of Probation Order and one count of Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm and one count of Failure to Comply with his Probation Order. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he is currently being held for bail.

Date: June 16, 2025, Time: 20:55 hrs., Location: Ridgetown
On June 16, 2025, at approximately 20:55 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter involving an assault at a residence in Ridgetown.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that a 45-year-old female from Ridgetown unlawfully entered the residence of a 49-year-old male, also from Ridgetown through a window. Once inside, she confronted the male and struck him in the face. Minor injuries were received, and medical attention was not required. The accused then exited the residence.
The individual was located and arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service officers. She is currently facing the following charge:
- Count 1: Break & Enter Commit the Indictable Offence of Assault
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters. She was released with a scheduled future court date of July 24, 2025.
