The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

Arrests:
• 1 arrest were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.

Warrants – Case# CK25012137
Date: February 27, 2025, Time: 18:28 hrs., Location: Murray Street, Wallaceburg
Details:
On February 27, 2025, at approximately 18:28hrs., as a result of a person stop for a bicycle violation, a 27-year-old male from Wallaceburg was discovered by the Chatham-Kent Police Service to have unendorsed warrants for his arrest. This was due to failing to attend court on multiple charges including:
• 1 Count for Breaking and Entering
• 1 Count for Theft Under $5000
• 1 count for Trespassing at Night
• 2 Counts for Failing to Attend Court
• 1 Count for Assault
He was remanded into custody and transported to South West Regional Detention Centre. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 7, 2025, by video.
