The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 96 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

Arrests:
• 5 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.

Warrants – Case# CK25010542
Date: February 20, 2025, Time: 10:27 hrs. Location: Wallace Street, Wallaceburg
Details:
• On February 20, 2025, at approximately 10:27 hrs., a 50-year-old male from Wallaceburg, the subject of three warrants including an endorsed warrant for failing to attend court for a previous drug offence charge, was located by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. As a result of a bail hearing, he was remanded into custody at Southwest Regional Detention Centre. His next court appearance is February 25, 2025.
Threats- Case# CK25010613
Date: February 20, 2025, Time: 16:10 hrs., Location: Grand Avenue West, Chatham
Details:
• On February 20, 2025, at approximately 16:10 hrs., a 19-year-old male from Wallaceburg was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Serviced for uttering threats to case death or bodily harm towards an officer. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he is currently being held for bail.
Mischief- Case# CK25010639
Date: February 20, 2025, Time: 20:51hrs., Location: Richmond Street, Chatham
Details:
• On February 20, 2025, at approximately 16:10 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service received several calls for service of a tenant causing a disturbance at a multi-unit residential building on Richmond Street, Chatham. A 33-year-old male from Chatham was arrested and charged with mischief. He was released with a future court date.
